The first step you need to take is understand what you are capable of doing, what you are expecting to and the knowledge and skills that you already have. The first step is to narrow down your choices, as this makes the job selecting so much easier. Once you do this, you’ll find that the job process becomes so much easier since your focus is only on one field or so.
Now is the time to make the best use of your internet connection and research the available vacancies and their job roles. Every job is probably going to differ from another, with varying companies and agencies, so do our research on each one of them and check if they tally with your personality and your personal schedule. If it’s a call centre recruitment agencies, they will do all this for you, but otherwise you might have to spend a few hours off your day looking up what is best for you.
Sending out your CV
After you’ve done your research and found plenty of vacancies, it’s now time to send out your CV. You have to double and triple check if your CV is in a presentable state and more importantly; that it’s up to date. Include all the essential details, but don’t over load it with too much information that isn’t necessary for the job. Send out your CV as early as possible, and not nearing the closing date.
